Fleet management, control and tracking platform for transport and logistics companies
The high participation of the logistics sector in the economy of Mexico is the result of greater dynamism and development of trade, transportation, logistics, storage, real estate services, and the rental of movable and intangible goods. Freight transport is a strategic industry for the economy of Mexico and its commerce, which contributes to the country 3% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), which moves 56% of goods by road, said Gerardo Ruiz Esparza, Secretary of Communications and Transport (SCT) when closing the work of the general assembly of the National Chamber of Freight Transport (CANACAR) 2018.
The fleet management, control and tracking platform for transport and logistics companies called “Trans & Logis” consists of a technological solution that allows the unification of data to generate the transversality of information throughout the entire supply chain of the transport and logistics industry, allowing the streamlining of procedures, communication between suppliers and customers, an agile and practical platform, to optimize resources, guarantee transport processes and have a coordination between company and suppliers.

Mexico has the geographical and commercial characteristics to become a great Logistics and Transport Platform of the world, the industrial activity in Mexico shows an accelerated growth behaviour, there are productive sectors such as the automotive, aerospace, agri-food industry, tourism that they maintain a positive dynamism, since they are in frank development, as well as the export sector, so that Mexican industrialists demand higher quality transport and more competitive costs.
The project proposes the use of information technologies to allow integration along the supply chain, as well as access to innovative tools, are considered the most important priorities in this sector; although its current condition was evaluated with the highest levels. On the other hand, the item that requires more attention due to its current state is the development of electronic commerce, an activity where logistics is a vital element.
